This action packed one day course will teach you the essentials necessary for mountain biking success. The course is aimed at adults who wish to learn the skills needed to cycle off road confidently on a mountain bike. The course covers bike set up, safety checks, ascending and descending hills, cornering and how to cross obstacles such as tree stumps with wheelies, drop-offs or bunny hops. The day finishes with a ride to put the skills you have learnt into practice. Depending on the venue morning and afternoon snacks and refreshments are included. You should bring your own packed lunch and additional drinks. Mountain bike hire is not included, however it can be arranged at the time of booking if required.
