Begin this epic voyage at Fort William and follow the historic pony track up onto the plateau, reach the old summit observatory, up on the edge of the colossal North face. Prepare to deal with a variety of conditions - on a clear day, half of Scotland will be visible from the summit, however, it can snow on Ben Nevis for 365 days of the year so there may be little or no visibility. An experienced guide will trek at a steady pace but more experienced walkers can scramble along the narrow ridge of Carn Mor Dearg onto the summit. Receive a debrief and hot chocolate back at the National Ice Climbing centre in Kinlochleven, before concluding with a well-earned steam and sauna.
