Cricket St. Thomas is an elegant Regency mansion in one of Somerset's most beautiful valleys. It is difficult to say what is most striking about this splendid estate in the heart of Somerset's cider country. Perhaps it is the Regency styling of the main house, the magnificent Grade II-listed gardens, or the twelfth-century chapel nestled among the mature cedars, maples and yews. Either way, why not chill out with champagne afternoon tea in this sleepy part of Somerset. Your afternoon tea includes: a glass of Champagne (choose from Piper Heidsieck or Piper Heidsieck Rosé); Strawberries and cream; a variety of Princess cut sandwiches made with fresh farmhouse white and granary wholemeal breads, all filled with a traditional mix of fillings favoured for afternoon tea; traditional warm scones, your choice of original or sultana, served with Devonshire clotted cream and Tiptree of Essex strawberry preserve and a selection of afternoon cakes and pastries
